If you manage an office kitchen, you probably have a Waterdrop reverse osmosis system, a side-by-side refrigerator with a GE filter, and somebody's Instant Pot on the counter. This checklist is for the person who gets called when something tastes odd, sounds wrong, or barely cooks food. For a typical side-by-side refrigerator, set the temperature to 37°F in the fridge and 0°F in the freezer. Verify with a thermometer, don't trust the display. We once found a refrigerator showing 38°F that was actually 47°F at the front door. That heat made the ice maker work harder and the dispenser water taste flat. The water filter was fine.

Here's how to set Instant Pot to high pressure: press Pressure Cook or Manual, then press the Pressure Level button until the display says High. Set the time and let it preheat. If the display doesn't say High, it's not cooking at high pressure.
We had an Instant Pot in the shared kitchen for two years. People reported it broken almost every week. The actual problem was that someone had set it to Low and walked away.
